There’s a new live-action thrill ride coming to the CW Saturday mornings, and you'll get a full episode preview on Dec. 13 to build anticipation for its January release. Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight descends from the wildly popular Japanese Kamen Rider films and TV series, a franchise that originated 35 years ago. Back in 1995, WBNX aired Masked Rider, the first American adaptation loosely based on the Kamen saga—but this new adventure is light-years superior. For starters, one of the main stars is charismatic Matt Mullins, a 5-time Kickboxing/Karate World Champion. He’s flanked by Disney favorite Stephen Lunsford and pop singer/actress Marisa Lauren. At first glance, Kamen Rider may seem like another morphing fantasy show for teens, but there’s an ongoing mystery, a creepy shapeshifting villain (William O’Leary), and some of the best choreographed action scenes and special-effects you'll see on weekly television.

Well known for his work in the Discovery Channel award winning Documentary XTREME MARTIAL ARTS, Matt Mullins has been performing in TV, film, and live productions for the last 5 years. With the recent release of the popular cult film ADVENTURES OF JOHNNY TAO and his supporting role in the upcoming BLOOD & BONE Matt Mullins is fast gaining recognition as an exciting action star. Matt still performs live with his performance team “Sideswipe” around the world. After finishing in the final 5 on last season’s “AMERICA’S GOT TALENT,” Sideswipe has signed a multi-million dollar deal to perform permanently inside the Caesar’s Palace Hotel in Las Vegas.

Luke Broadlick earns TV role

KICKgen member, 6x ISKA World Champion, Luke Broadlick will be appearing on Nickelodeon’s True Jackson VP television show.

Luke Broadlick, 16, best known for his martial arts on the NASKA circuit has made the cross over to the entertainment world in Hollywood, CA. Luke is a black belt in American Kenpo and a member of Sensei John Sharkey’s Team AKA and a member of Matt Mullins Sideswipe Performance Team. Luke is known across the world for his Extreme Martial Arts.

Luke has hosted Nickelodeon’s Just In commercial franchise and has appeared in numerous commercials and print work for PUMA, Target, Time Warner, Kono Magazine and Macerich Malls to name a few.

Luke has a co-star role on this week’s episode of True Jackson VP starring KeKe Palmer from Akeela and the Bee, Jump In, and this summer’s LongShots. True Jackson is about a teenage girl who gets hired as the Vice President of a fashion company. This week’s episode Saturday, 12/6/08 episode is titled “Ryan on Wheels” and will also co-star skateboarder Ryan Sheckler. Check your local listings for show times.

KICKgen COO, Tracy McCoy remarked, I have seen Luke perform on national stages many times. I remember thinking in 2005… Luke is going to be a star, and now at 16 he is well on his way. It is so exciting to see KICKgen members earn status in the entertainment world. I have no doubt we will see Luke on the big screen some day.

South-La Accra Taekwondo, SLATA, is a member of the WORLD TAEKWONDO FEDERATION [W.T.F] and GHANA TAEKWONDO ASSOCIATION [G.T.A]. This group is a voluntary organization which started gaining roots in 1990 supported by the Ex-Executive Director Ghana Taekwondo Association.

Martial Arts in Accra-Ghana is a way of life, as well as, for physical well being, Discipline, Community Services and the Spirit of brotherhood. The team just ended the 2008 KOREA CUP TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP in ACCRA-GHANA- on 11/22 & 23 and SLATA won bronze MEDAL in WELTER WEIGHT Female Division.
